As all of us here in Sulli know Mr. Hayes, our bright, smiling and friendly principal, will not be returning for the last weeks of school due to, from what some teachers have told us, a "terminal illness". Take that as you will, but he unfortunately won't be seen for the rest of the year.

However that never stopped a group of Sulli students from sending their wishes to him. As of May 21st, they banded together with a tapestry adorned with navy blue stars and asked people from every grade to write their best wishes to him. They, of course, wrote messages themselves, wishing for the best for our principal. Unbeknownst to them was the reception that it would receive. There were, literally, line of students wanting to sign a message to Mr. Hayes. Messages like "get well soon" and "we miss you" and "we hope to see you next year" were all written down.
Even more uplifting, a few more students banded together with a camera to create video messages for Mr. Hayes. They asked people from every grade to say something to him and even got a couple of group messages here and there.
With all this support coming from his own students, one would like to
hope that it made Mr. Hayes feel a bit better. Hopefully he enjoyed all
the hardwork put in to this and appreciated the messages, good wishes
and video logs. All in all this was a great way to show that sullicares!
